Help Yousif Represent Sudan at the 2025 World Taekwondo U21 Championships
Yousif Abdulrahman has been selected to represent Sudan at the inaugural 2025 World Taekwondo U21 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya on December 4.
The World Taekwondo U21 Championships is the highest-level tournament for taekwondo athletes under 21, bringing together the world’s top national-team competitors to represent their countries on the global stage.
Yousif's background:
- 2024 AAU National Team Member
- Current captain of Team Yoo
- 3rd Degree Kukkiwon Black Belt
- West Potomac High School Honor Roll
As a dedicated athlete from Yoo’s Martial Arts in Alexandria, Virginia, Yousif has trained since the age of 8 to reach this opportunity—balancing his education, competition schedule, and the rigorous demands of elite Taekwondo.
Competing for Sudan carries deep personal meaning for Yousif and his family, especially as his country continues to face immense challenges due to ongoing internal conflict and instability.
Yousif, a senior at West Potomac High School, now has the chance to step onto the world stage for Sudan and compete against the best young athletes from across the globe.
This journey will be entirely self-funded, covering travel, lodging, registration, and team expenses, which is why we’re asking for your help.
Your contribution—no matter the amount—will directly support Yousif’s dream of becoming the 2025 U21 World Champion.
