<div>The World Taekwondo U21 Championships is the highest-level tournament for taekwondo athletes under 21, bringing together the world’s top national-team competitors to represent their countries on the global stage.

<div>As a dedicated athlete from Yoo’s Martial Arts in Alexandria, Virginia, Yousif has trained since the age of 8 to reach this opportunity—balancing his education, competition schedule, and the rigorous demands of elite Taekwondo.

<div>Competing for Sudan carries deep personal meaning for Yousif and his family, especially as his country continues to face immense challenges due to ongoing internal conflict and instability.
