My name is Karoleena (Carolina) and I am assisting my friend Younis Alharaki to raise funds to rebuild his life after suffering from 14 years of war. Here is his story in his own words

"Hello from Younis Alharaki

After 14 years of war in my country

There is a lot I want to say, but first I want to tell you about myself and why I am here

After the revolution broke out in my country, I was forced to leave with my family to look for a safe place, and Jordan was the closest country to us. I arrived in Jordan on 1/27/2013. This was a historic day that I will never forget as long as I live. I lived in the camp the worst days of my life, and life there was always very difficult. During my journey in the camp, I was always looking for a way to help my people and the people who lived around me. I did not find anything better than photography to deliver my message to the world. I started taking pictures and making stories about my people. I worked for many news channels and international newspapers. During my journey, I started making documentaries and worked outside the camp for a while sometimes.

But on 12/8/2024, it was a date that I will never forget as long as I live, and also a date that I did not imagine would come. Security returned to my country on that day. I could not control myself. I was crying and laughing at the same time. It was a crazy day in the true sense of the word.

On the day Next I realized that I have to go back to my country but this time the challenge will be bigger.

I have to finish what I started which is filming my first film before returning and also support the person who has always mattered to me, the hero of my story Sami. The story will be very luxurious and will be a lesson to all people around the world.

Secondly, I had to rebuild a small house that I can live in there before returning.

This is my message and I hope to get your support to reach my goal.
