**Learning to Fly — It's OK to Dream!**

Hello! My name is María Andrea Palacio Toro, and I am the founder of Learning to Fly.

Learning to Fly is not a new dream. It is the continuation of *Aprendiendo a Volar*, a foundation I started in Colombia more than 10 years ago to help Colombian and Venezuelan youth discover their talents, develop entrepreneurial ideas, and build brighter futures.

Over the years, we have supported young entrepreneurs and organized community initiatives, including Christmas gift drives, school supply donations, and cultural experiences for children from underserved communities.

After losing both my father and my husband within two years, I experienced profound depression and stress-related health challenges. I eventually made the decision to move to the United States and begin a new chapter.

**But my passion for helping others didn't stay in Colombia. It came with me.**

Today, my dream is to create a welcoming, inspiring space in Orlando, Florida, where young people ages 18 to 25 can discover their purpose, learn valuable skills, and find the confidence to build the future they deserve.

## What Will Learning to Fly Offer?

Our foundation is developing four essential programs:

**1. Skills for the Future**

Hands-on learning in artificial intelligence, website development, graphic design, digital marketing, video and audio production, and creative technology.

**2. Seed Capital for Young Entrepreneurs**

We will help young people evaluate their business ideas, understand costs, analyze competition, and create sustainable business plans. Our goal is to provide small, interest-free seed loans that can be repaid in affordable installments, allowing the funds to support future entrepreneurs.

**3. Discovering My Purpose**

Personalized guidance, self-discovery activities, and connections with mentors who can help young people identify their talents and pursue their dreams.

**4. Power Routine MP**

A wellness and personal development program I created from my own journey of healing and transformation. Through movement, dance, and connection with nature, we aim to help young people reduce stress, build confidence, reconnect with themselves, and dream again.

## How Will We Sustain Our Mission?

Learning to Fly will be supported through individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and our own fundraising initiatives.

Our sponsoring company, ZP PM International, is committed to contributing 10% of its profits and sharing professional knowledge in technology, marketing, and creativity.

We are also developing *The Story Behind…*, a storytelling project that celebrates entrepreneurs and businesses while generating revenue to support our youth programs and seed capital fund.
