Hi my name is Zoe and I'm fundraising for my husband's family. My husband grew up in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and we are heartbroken to see the country falling back into similar cycles of conflict and desperation.

In order to protect my husband's family, we have to keep specifics like their names and identities confidential. My husband's siblings, who's ages range from 17 to 32, and his two parents, currently live in Afghanistan. They are at great risk of being killed by the Taliban. Some of his siblings work for the government which makes them targets as the conflict worsens.

As with similar catastrophes, many Afghans are currently trying to leave the country and it has become increasingly more difficult to leave without substantial financial assistance. Our plan is to utilize these funds to obtain visas in a safe country such as Turkey or Uzbekistan, relocate his family as soon as possible and provide housing and food for them while they work to rebuild their lives in a new country.

We need our collective communities to rally together to help his family escape this conflict. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
