Help Yonnie get back to Hampton!

Hello everyone, I am Ayonlah (Yonnie) Carter. I am a rising senior at Hampton University Journalism major Political Science minor from Washington, DC.
I am reaching out to humbly ask for assistance to continue to pursue my academic endeavors at Hampton University.
Last summer, my grandmother passed away who was financially supporting me in school. My mother is also deceased as well. With their passing, I have had to declare as an independent student, meaning that I am financially responsible supporting myself and putting myself through school.
I have a $7,500 balance on my student accounts that has to be paid in order for me to be registered for classes and continue to finish out my last year at Hampton. This balance is expected to be paid in full by August 11th, 2025. I have exhausted all scholarship opportunities from the university and external funding to cover the costs of my tuition. I have also picked up university jobs such as being a student leader and a Resident Assistant to help lower my balance as well.
I am a first generation college student who is passionate about Journalism and Political Science. During my time at Hampton, I have been able to maintain a GPA of 3.9. I have really enjoyed working on enriching and improving my skills as a writer and editor in the Journalism field and really would love to continue my progress in my academic endeavor.
If possible, I would greatly appreciate if you could help me get back on campus. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
