My name is Yesenia, and I’m reaching out for support after an unexpected car accident left my 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid out of commission. On August 2, 2025, I let a friend borrow my car, and unfortunately, she was involved in an accident that caused significant damage to the back driver side, bending the wheel inward. Thankfully, everyone involved was unharmed, but my car is now undriveable until repairs are completed.

As a single mother of two children, I handle everything on my own. My car is essential for my daily life, helping me get to work and manage all my family responsibilities. The repair estimate is more than I can handle on my own, and I’m also facing extra costs for transportation while my car is in the shop. The repair is estimated to be completed by the 21st, so I’m hoping to raise the funds as soon as possible to avoid further delays. We've been walking at least a mile a day and riding buses in the meantime. Any support will make a real difference and help me get back on the road quickly.
