Hi, I’m Erin. Yazan is my friend from Gaza, he is 18 years old and despite the famine and bombings he is still just a young man worried for his studies and holding onto his hopes for the future and his family.

I hope, I beg, I plead, for any donations which could help Yazan and his 8 family members; Yafa, Rahaf, Farah, Sarah, Yahya, Ahmed, their father Fares, and mother Fidaa. Hope comes in many forms and I urge you to share, to learn, to connect in any way you are able to against the violence of colonial occupation. Sharing a meal with Yazan alleviates a real weight from his shoulder, to allow him to worry, as a typical 18 year old, about his future, his path to university and his place in the world as an adult.

Real change happens when we share with our community and I hope you are able to share with Yazan, his family and the community.
