Help Yaser and Palestinians in Gaza

Hi, my name is Raghd Zeidan - I’m a content creator known as @zeidaner on Instagram.

A few months ago, while filming in Jerusalem, I met a curious Palestinian kid named Yaser. He was fascinated by me vlogging, he showed me his youtube channel, we talked and I decided to give him my camera and told him to film whatever he wanted.

I later posted that footage online - and the video went viral.

Thousands of people connected with Yaser’s personality. Many encouraged him to keep creating and vlogging in Jerusalem. So, with the help of his mom, we set up his own Instagram account, and since then, he’s been posting videos about his life. He’s already gained thousands of followers

And it gets better, something amazing happened:

Someone offered to buy Yaser a new phone so he could continue vlogging with it, out of his own pocket. I got excited - maybe too excited - and told Yaser right away. He was so happy he cried.

Roughly translating to: 'Peace be upon you,

Can you reach the boy again?

I'm a charitable person and I want to get him a phone as a gift so he can start filming with it.'

But unfortunately… the person who made that promise stopped replying.

It broke Yaser’s heart, and that’s on me. I told him too soon. Before I could confirm the guy is legit, and before I had the phone in hand.

So now, I want to help raise money to get Yaser what he deserves — a proper phone and mic to keep vlogging.

But I also want to go further.

This is a chance to support other Palestinian, like me, like Yaser - in Gaza who are just as bright and full of potential, but who are now living through unimaginable circumstances: hunger, trauma, and loss.

What this fundraiser will do:

One, we are dedicating approximately $1500 to buy:

These will be bought directly by me and personally given to Yaser so he can keep vlogging and sharing his world.

Any amount above the fixed amount will be donated to World Central Kitchen, specifically to support their emergency food relief efforts in Gaza.
