Hello!
Yahdi Wei and Jenna are building a home together by converting a former shuttle bus into a fully equipped mobile home:
Jenna and Yahdi deeply value connecting with people, the Land, and exploration. They are pouring into building a home in each other and Gus the Bus that allows them to expand their care for all they hold dear.
Yahdi Wei is a compost farmer passionate about supporting people in being present with their relationship to waste. He believes everyone deserves to have access to free movement and is showing up to embody that value in moving through life. In March 2024, he experienced an armed home invasion that changed everything. Fighting for his life while holding care for the person enacting harm ignited a knowing that all that he dreams of is possible. “I’ve lost so much over this year, but my fiery spirit is one thing that will always be. In surrendering all that needed to go, my world has bloomed so beautifully with all that is meant for me. Building this home in Gus with Jenna feels like choosing life so fully. Thank you for supporting us!”
Jenna is a multi-media artist, facilitator, and diviner. This year they have been deepening their connection to spirit through shamonic reiki and tarot divination. They spent most of this year offering tarot and creative consultation work to querents all over the states! Jenna has dreamed of finding a home to match her nomadic lifestyle and found that in Gus The Bus (and Yahdi <3).
We have spent countless hours this year gutting, scheming, brainstorming, putting up walls, laying down floors, and wiring solar panels.
We are continuing this build to get our home ready by Spring 2025, and we need your help to do that!
We are raising $11,500 to get the bus to a live-able state and gear to safely camp while the bus is being built!

Our Commitment to Community:
We have been documenting this process and have begun sharing it on social media! Our desire to inspire other Queer & BIPOC folks who dream of rent-free nomadic living filled with adventure and self-sustainability. We are a real-life showing that you can do it too!
In 2025, once Gus is finished and we are more stable, we desire to host Q&As with our respected communities about our building journey, our on-the-road lifestyle, and anything else folks want to know within our boundaries and capacities.
We love you, and I say this with deep respect and truth: We could not do this without you.
Love always.
