Hello, my name is Blia. I'm the sister-in-law of Xong, who is married to Kham Yang. I'm asking families from afar, friends, and strangers for some financial assistance.

Kham and Xong have been married for over a decade and have 7 children. Their world fell apart in 2017 when Kham found out he had kidney failure. Kham had to leave his job shortly after dialysis treatment was required weekly. Xong became the sole provider for her family of 9.

On Friday, July 18, 2025, a life-changing call was received, marking 8 years since Kham was placed on the kidney transplant waitlist. A kidney match for Kham was found, and the surgery was scheduled for the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025. We are all so happy and overjoyed with the news that is giving hope to Xong and her children. On Sunday, July 20th, I was able to visit Kham and Xong at the hospital. The kidney transplant went well, and Kham is recovering from it.

Kham's kidney transplant and recovery will require intensive care and support. It'll require Xong to be absent from work as a self-employed nail tech for about 4 weeks to care for her husband. This will result in a loss of income during this time.

This financial burden will make it difficult for Xong's family to meet daily living expenses, that's the reason why I am seeking financial support from all of you. Any amount is appreciated. Please help me share their story.

Wednesday July 23, 2025 Kham was discharged from the hospital in the afternoon, hoping for fast recovery!

Monday July 21,2025 Kham was able to get up move around and eat a little in the afternoon.

Sunday July 20, 2025 Kham woke up from time to time. Good sign‼️
