Hello, my name is Kelly and I’m trying to raise money for my parents, Wynn and Steve, to move into more affordable housing. Their rent has increased by $1200 in three years to almost $3,000.00. They are senior citizens retired and on fixed incomes. As such, they can no longer afford to stay in their home. Trying to keep up with the increase has put them into debt and they are now facing the possibility of eviction. My siblings and I have been helping but first months rent and deposit is proving to be more than we can afford. My mom has always gone out of her way to help others, even traveling to go take care of anyone that needs her. She has always been there to help and support me, so I’d like an opportunity to give something back to her. Funds will be used for the costs of moving and any other help they need. Any help at all would be amazing and so appreciated!
