Hi Everyone,

My name is Mo Hoeffel. Lots of you know me by my workplace; World of Rocks. I have worked for World of Rocks for almost 8 years now and we have recently experienced a tragedy.

On May 5th, a corrupt person decided they wanted to steal from us. At approximately 1:30am in the morning, this individual threw a large rock through our door- obliterating it- and let himself in through the destroyed door and stole cash out of the drawer.

While the cash being gone was irritating, it was nothing compared to the loss and reconstruction of the door- which will be costing just about $1,000 to fix.

World of Rocks has been a long standing mom and pop shop for over a decade in our wonderful town of Ypsilanti. We love this city. We love being here and the people who walk through our door. We try to be a beacon of light when people need it the most.

Unfortunately, being a small business, a bill of $1,000 can be devastating. And it is.

I am setting up this GoFundMe to help us replace the door. As I care so deeply for this store, our staff, our owners, and our community.

Currently, our door is held up with wooden planks and is unsightly. Any donation will be helpful to replacing the clear glass that was once our door so we can see everyone's smiling faces coming in once more!
