Proposal; spiritual healing group for women

Our proposal is to deliver a spiritual healing group for women in the Barnsley area, which is facilitated by” Barnsley women for Barnsley women”.

It is evident that there are very few and easily accessible groups for women locally and for women who seek professional help.

The National Health Service is unfortunately woefully inadequate as waiting lists for any mental health care is painfully long and does not always meet the individuals’ holistic needs as it comes from a medical model, and not a humanistic approach.

Women who have the fortitude to seek help require it in the here and now so we women’s unity are offering this holistic help free to these women seeking the help.

holistic care covers a wide spectrum specialising in spiritual, emotional, social, physical and mental care.

Although we offer this care free for the group to get up and running we are aiming to raise enough funds to start two groups running the cost of those groups entails the goal specified however, due to waiting lists and red tape this money is months away and there are women right now that are being sign posted from the NHS and IDAS service so it is essential the community pull together to raise the amount in order to open our doors to give these ladies a safe space to regain their power and identities.

The money will be spent on women’s diaries which inevitably will be their spiritual survival guide book. Their 6 step knot bracelets which will remind them of how far they have come with each step. Then there is the reiki professional who will enlighten the women sparking confidence and self esteem. There is many many ways this money will be spent but the main reason as stated is to get these women this help now. There is cost to hire our base and refreshments which will provide women the exact safe space they need in order to grow and heal.
