Urgent Help Needed: Woman & Dog Stranded After RV Towed in Nevada County

Hi community — I’m reaching out on behalf of a woman I met today who is experiencing a sudden and heartbreaking housing crisis here in Nevada County.

She recently moved from Minnesota and has been living in her RV with her sweet dog, doing her best to stay afloat. Her RV broke down near Brunswick, and unfortunately, the police had it towed before she could move it. She now needs to raise $500 just to get her home back.

Because of this, she’s currently homeless, sleeping outdoors, and navigating this with nothing but a backpack, her pup, and her resilience.

She is:

• Willing to work or do work-trade

• Honest, grounded, and trying to hold it together

• Committed to staying in this community if she can get through this rough patch

We are asking for $750 to cover:

• $500 tow fee

• Emergency food, gas, and supply costs

• A small buffer to help her land safely
