Help Wolseley Bridge to Save Lives

We are Wolseley Bridge, a garden centre based in Rugeley, Staffordshire and we are on a mission to raise funds for an onsite defibrillator to help both our customers and the community.

Defibrillators are vital at helping to save lives in the event of a cardiac arrest... Did you know that less than 1 in 10 people survive sudden cardiac arrest? But with a defibrillator, the chances of survival can be as high as 90% if administered within the first minute, after this the survival rate reduces by 10% for each minute. Our closest defibrillator is at the Wolseley Wildlife Centre which is a 7 minute run there and back from us. A recent scare, where one of our customers required a defibrillator, highlighted how having one onsite would greatly reduce this time and hopefully help to save a life.

On Wednesday the 3rd July 2024, some of our incredible team will be taking on the inspiring challenge of climbing Snowdon, the 2nd tallest mountain in Britain, to raise money for an onsite defibrillator. To add to the challenge, Swanny, Josh, Jack, Lauren and Paige will be climbing the mountain in fancy dress outfits chosen by our customers and social media followers. We would really appreciate your support in fundraising the necessary amount to purchase and install this life saving defib at our store.
