Help with supporting Crisberly's children this summer!

Dear supporters,

I am updating this fundraiser to request support for Crisberly's children to participate in recreational, educational, and emotionally supportive programs and activities this summer, as they continue to deal with the trauma of their mother's death. Thank you for any contribution you can make.

Below is my original request at the time that Crisberly was killed back in December. Thank you for all your support.

(*Please note that the previously collected funds ($8000 plus) went toward paying for Crisberly's funeral and to the grandmother who is raising the children (housing, clothing, food, educational and medical needs, etc.) I am now collecting funds so that the grandmother can enroll the children in supportive and fun summer programs.).

Estimados colaboradores:

Crisberly Yoeling Rea Lopez was born on August 7, 1997 in Barquisimeto, in the state of Lara, Venezuela. She came to Chicago in February 2024. Tragically, she was shot and killed on December 8, 2025, by her estranged spouse.

Crisberly was hardworking; her jobs included work in nail salons, grocery stores, and food delivery, among other employment. Her priority was always her four children: Isabella, Anabella, Hector Mathias, and Dominic, ages 12, 10, 8, and 2. In addition to working tirelessly to provide a home and food for them, Crisberly was particularly dedicated to her children’s education.

She was a charismatic young woman who had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor, despite the pressures of her daily life. She was raised with humility and gratitude. In addition to her four children, Crisberly is survived by her devoted mother, Cristina Lopez, two brothers, Sería and Jesús, and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to have met her.

Please donate to help cover funeral and related expenses and to support the many needs of Crisberly’s children, who will be cared for by the grandmother and another relative.
