Hi my name is Lauson Kai and I’m raising funds for my dad, brother and myself. We have been living with someone who is abusive and unstable. She has made our lives very difficult and we have had to walk on eggshells 24/7 for many years. Our mental health has suffered tremendously. It has come to a point that we need to move and be away from her. With that, moving costs are very expensive. My brother deserves a safe space to grow up and flourish in. I want my brother to have a better childhood than what I had. With that, I’m also starting school in August. I need a space where I can focus on my studies without any chaos. My dad deserves peace. None of these needs can be fulfilled if we keep living where we are now. We appreciate you sharing this post and donating. It truly means the world to us.

Thank you everyone for the support! After touring some places, we have signed a lease and should be getting keys this week! We will move as soon as we can thereafter. My family and I are ready to start a new chapter and prioritize happiness.
