Hi everyone my name is Akeem Lewis I'm from Whithorn Westmoreland Jamaica. My parents house is directly infront of the police station. Hurricane Melissa just devastated the island and it has left my father and sick mother (bed ridden) without a roof over their head.

I've started this fund raiser in hopes that I can get some help in rebuilding the house into concrete, parts of the house is already concrete and it wouldnt be starting from scratch. I will start as soon as thing are back in operation. I greatly appreciate any help no matter how small it may be it will be put to good use.❤️

The roof of the house was taken off by high speed winds aswell as a breadfruit tree fell on it also. Currently there a big space in the roof as there is no zinc covering it. The inside has been soaked and this is the house both my mom and dad are staying in as my mother can't be moved nor is there anywhere for them to really go. There's structural damage both inside and out.

Any and all funds recieved will be sent to Jamaica to my father Mr Kenneth Murdock to buy material and also pay the workmen for their labour and hard work currently the roads are blocked and there isn't any electricity nor cellular service. My goal is to start buying material as soon as the roads are cleared and the hardware stores are open for business.
