Help with medical and house hold bills

Hi my name is Jahmya Thomas and I would like to share the chronicles of my baby girl Sendayah Horne 5 month old life experiences so far. I gave birth to my healthy baby girl Sendayah on June 2, 2022. On September 23 my daughter unexpectedly had a massive stroke followed with uncontrollable silent seizures which caused damage to the right side of her brain. Baby Sendayah was admitted to Texas Children PICU for 18 days. After an 18 day stay Sendayah was released to go home, I was trained to operate the machine that’s connected to her feeding tube and also to administer the 3 seizure medications that she’s now taking. Within a week of being discharged we started outpatient physical & occupational therapy and the therapist and I noticed Sendayah was starting to curve to the right in a C shape, and her stomach was starting to extend out more then normal. I immediately took her to the ER and waited 9 hours+ without being seen and exposed to who knows what. The ER was full with awfully ill children. I decided to leave and made an appointment to see a doctor that took place two days later. As soon as the doctor took one look at Sendayah he called the ER and explained that she needed to be seen soon as she arrived. He was very concerned. After being rushed back to the ER it was uncovered that her bladder was so full that it would’ve cause serious damage if we would have waited another day. There was 250cc of urine in her bladder the average 5 month old baby at most has 50cc. Also they saw on the MRI that she had a large abscess on her spinal cord. We were immediately admitted back to the PICU where emergency spinal surgery took place where she pulled through with no complications only to return to the room where the nurses went to adjust her breathing tube and she coded. They were able to resuscitate her. It’s been one thing after another. Currently we are still in the hospital. I’m unable to attend work because I have to stay with her to oversee her care, due to the everyday change in the nursing staff. I’m not receiving a salary or any compensation from being off work as I had just made career prior to her stroke which was almost two months ago. I’m now down to my last few dollars unable to purchase food to eat or pay any household bills at this time. I have been here with my baby each and everyday while my mom assist with looking after my 11 year old son. I look forward to Sendayah being discharged, but she still has a very long recovery and I’m still unsure when I can return to work. I have reached out to agencies for assistance, which we know take forever just for an appointment. I’m am very grateful for any donations, but most importantly please keep my family in your prayers.
