Our mom has been battling stomach cancer for nearly a year, and she was just moved into hospice care with only a short time left; 2 weeks or less.
We’re doing everything we can to keep her surrounded by love and peace during this time. She’s always been the kind of mom who reached out, shared everything, and made sure we knew how deeply she loved us with her thousands of messages ♥️♥️♥️
She raised us with care, made us feel safe even during the hardest times, and always showed up to support whatever we were passionate about. She encouraged Becca to stay on a good path, celebrated our accomplishments, and wants to be remembered for how much she gave, even when she didn't have enough.
My sister and I have always had our own rhythm, our own way of being there for each other and mom. Being here together now means everything as we hold on to these final days with our mom.
We're now behind on rent, our accounts are in the negatives, and bills are piling up. We’re also bracing for the financial realities of what comes after hospice, including final arrangements and related expenses that we are not financially prepared for.
If you can support us, even just by sharing this, it would mean the world. Our mom would be so grateful knowing people care about her kids and grandkids in this moment. Thank you for being part of this with us.
