Help with my roadblock to recovery
Donazione protetta
Hi, I’m Eden Janzen. I am 25 years old. For the last 4 and a half years I’ve spent most of my time hooked up to a machine in order to stay alive. In July 2017 my kidneys failed and I started dialysis. Since then I’ve had multiple other health problems come up, some that aren’t related to my kidney failure. I was getting disability money since I got sick, but I’ve been jumping through hoops with social services and nothing has moved forward. I have really high blood pressure. Sometimes it’s 210/120. It scares me and I believe it’s due to stress. I just recently broke my femur due to osteoporosis and high PTH. I have been in hospital since august 8th because I’m unable to get to where I will be living. After searching and being let down due to my age, an independent senior living home accepted me. They will provide my meals, I’ll have real meals and not go without eating because I’m too exhausted. They will provide rides to dialysis so I’m stressed, stranded, frantically trying to find a ride or using my last $20 for an Uber. This would change my life. It’s what I’ve been needing for 3 years and it would be a dream come true. I can’t get ahold of my disability worker, and I need to get out of the hospital and have a home. This place is my dream. I can focus on getting my health stable to kget a kidney. I know times are difficult right now and the world is in disarray, but if it’s possible to help a bit, it would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading my story.
