Yesterday my cousin received news that no parent wants to hear. Her sweet, artistic, vibrant 14 year old daughter Tessa was diagnosed with rapidly spreading Lymphoma cancer.  Tessa and Larissa were immediately life flighted to Children's Mercy in Kansas City. We don’t know many details other than it has consumed 90% of her lungs and all of her neck. There are 70 different types of lymphoma cancer, they will be taking a biopsy today to find out more of which type it is, what stage it is at and what type of treatment is the best course to go. It is going to be a very hard and trying road. I can only imagine the expenses that might pile up while they are caring for Tessa. 

WORDS FROM MY COUSIN:
"Please send prayers, healing thoughts and good juju or whatever it is you believe in. Please take time to give your kids extra love. Remember when they talk to you, to listen, had we not listened to Tessa’s issues, we might not have caught it when we did. We went in thinking she had a pinched sciatic nerve; yes, something as simple as that, and instead got the news that she has cancer and it is not good. Something no parent ever wants to hear! (She is joking and keeps saying well at least I don’t have Covid). Please please please don’t take small things for granted. Give them extra loves, listen to them complain no matter how small you think it is, because you never know when that one small thing, could be something bigger!"

I cannot tell you just how much your prayers and any other help you may be able to provide mean to our whole family right now! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.  I will update as I can.
