Help with Maddies Medical Expenses

Hi im Eric Swank. Madaline is my wonderful 9 year old daughter. She has suffered from severe allergies her whole life. This week her mother and i almost lost this sweet girl to a sudden new onset allergy. She went into anaphylactic shock and ultimately spent 3 days in the icu at children’s hospital in Columbus. While there she experienced another secondary reaction. The team of doctors were able to stabilize her thankfully. After meeting with mutiple specialist she will have to under go more allergy testing as well as other tests to confirm suspicions that she has a rare esophageal condition that makes it hard to eat and absorb food. Kara is taking a lot of time off work for the abundance of upcoming doctors visits and testing. We are also working on getting her an emotional support and therapy dog as she is having some major anxiety with every thing going on. We are doing every thing possible to get her back to a normal life where she can enjoy her favorite activities once again. We dont normally ask for help but in this situation we feel it’s necessary.
