On Sunday, September 5, 2021, our angel on earth was unexpectedly called home.
Sandy Marlita Bartholomew was a daughter, a sister, aunt, a friend, a beloved coworker... but more importantly, she was a mother to a young Prince she loved with her entire being. Family was everything for Sandy.
Sandy was quiet seeming to many people but when she spoke, we all listened. She was there for everyone in their time of need and never asked for anything in return.. she just wanted to know everyone in her network was BLESSED!
Having been raised in Chalkfarm and moving further up the Jane Strip in her adult life - motivating change, encouraging the youth and taking steps to secure greater for the community were always a priority for Sandy but unfortunately her time and work on this earth ended without any forewarning.
Sandy is survived by her son Zaheer who is about to have his 7th birthday; his first without his mother. We cannot begin to imagine what he is going through right now, or will in future trying to reconcile this all but we can help him, as Sandy would have if the roles were reversed.
This campaign is being organized to assist the family with costs as needed to care for Zaheer as well as for Prince Zaheer's college/university education fund.
We ask that you share this campaign with anyone who knew and loved Sandy and/or make a contribution of any amount.
Monies collected not attributed to start up costs for care will be transferred to a trust account for him to access once he is of age. Information regarding the trust will be updated once it is available.
Sandy will be remembered always, and her energy will live on for eternity ~ selah ~
With Love,
