Help Chris regain his sight!
Still Thanking God everyday for having mercy on my son. As you look at these pictures you see a strong young man stronger than most grown men I have ever met. I still have nightmares and flash backs of the night this happened and my heart breaks in peices again every time. so I can only imagine the things he dosent tell me he feels to spare my feelings ..you see the journey he has went threw to get were he is today from two months ago and he as long journey ahead .but what you dont see behind the scene is the talks we have.when he says.... you dont hear it mom but I talk to God in the shower ❤ I talk to him everyday ... when he talks about all the things he will never be able to do like get his drivers license drive a 4 wheeler which he has wanted so bad past few years but never got a chance to get one well cause i thought it was to dangerous. and now he says their no point!! to go fishing he was a very active 14 year .all the uncertainty of what he will do with his life .there's so many things he says he realized he will never be able to do agian..I try to remind him daily he can do anything he sets his mind to .God has a plan .but to hear the heart break in his voice to hear the disappointment is just a few things youll dont see behind that smile ..as I tell him their are many positive things like your life but as depression sets in he needs prayers because he might have a smile on his face when you see him but he is fighting things we could only imagine and alot of us would probly loose that fight .so please say a little prayer for christopher to keep his faith..God has already showed up and showed out in his life..and I know he will continue #chrisstrong#https://gofund.me/d66ac154
Christopher is my 14 year old grandson… on June 16, 2021…another 14 year old boy pointed a gun at Chris’s head and pulled the trigger!
By the grace of God …Chris has survived ! Every day I am thankful that Chris is still with us. His left eye has been destroyed and his right eye has 30% sight…we have been told he will need numerous surgeries to possibly restore the sight of his right eye with no possibility of ever regaining sight to the left eye..my daughter is devastated… it is extremely hard for her to even leave his side at this point..she has been unable to return to work because Christopher needs so much care… we ask that you give anything at all even if it’s only a dollar and help this family to be able to stand on their feet and financially provide for Chris and we pray that you will continue to raise Chris up in your prayers! Praise God!
