Hi all, sometimes we find ourselves in situations we never expect to be in. We are in one of those spots right now and are looking to the kindness of others for help.

My name is Jessie and I am a first-time mom. It started out with me needing help to stay home with our new baby after unexpectedly not having assistance from my work. However, we now have the added stressors of her having medical complications and not a lot of answers.

Kailey was born on 6/26/22 and had a bit of a tricky entrance into the world. But, after a week in the hospital, some challenges, and an ER visit, we were thankful to be home. Unfortunately, we returned to the ER and had another week-long hospital stay at UC Davis again in July.

Thankfully we have not had any other ER or hospital stays but have regular doctor's appointments, physical therapy, and the cost of prescriptions we need help with.

I am not eligible for any leave or support from work. We need help to make it through November when care options are available and I can return to work. Also without help from my work I have not been able to pay my portion of health coverage, meaning we have to pay for any visits or therapies at time of service.

All help will pay monthly bills, doctor/medicine bills, and rent. We greatly appreciate anything and everything to make this difficult time a bit easier.
