My name is Britney Paddy, and I'm raising money for Ashley's best friend and furbaby, Winston, who needs eye surgery after a hit-and-run accident that changed their life in April 2025.

Winston is a sweet, lovable pug whose life changed in an instant after a hit-and-run accident that left him with an eye injury. Due to significant trauma, he has lost some vision, his eye has shrunk, and the third eyelid has rolled, leaving the duct and surrounding tissue exposed and inflamed. The inflammation puts him at risk for pain and further complications. He has been so brave throughout his recovery, which has included multiple follow-up appointments with a general veterinarian and an eye specialist. Now, Winston needs an enucleation, a specialized eye procedure that will remove the damaged eye, place an implant to maintain his facial structure, and ensure a safe recovery with anesthesia and post-op medication. The cost for this treatment is $3,000.
