On November 12th, my dad, lost everything when his home burned down in Marion, Illinois. He was not home and lost everything but the clothes and things he had with him. He’s 69 years old, works part-time at the VA hospital, has health issues, and no insurance or savings to fall back on.

Right now he has:

No home

No clothes or belongings

No transportation support

No way to replace even basic essentials

He’s contacted the Red Cross and has received some immediate help from them and is doing his best, but the reality is he needs help to get through the next few weeks, a place to stay, clothes, food, medication, and eventually help rebuilding or relocating.

Every donation helps, no matter the amount.

Thank you for supporting him during the hardest moment of his life.
