William and his wife have been a part of our community for 20 years. They had their four sons here and are dedicated church and community members. Whether you know him from church, your neighborhood, your children’s school, or because he helped create, repair, or perfect your home, everyone who comes in contact with William has only wonderful things to say about his giving nature and kind demeanor.

On Friday December 12th, ICE pulled up to his work site and took him and three of his fellow workers away without warning despite them being assets to the community for many years who had done nothing wrong. William’s family has of course been heavily affected by this situation, with their kids missing their father and his wife being without the assistance of her husband. The situation is worsening by their fear of being unable to leave their house out of precaution.

While we can’t make the pain and cruelty of this go away, we can at least help alleviate the financial stress of William not being allowed to provide for his family. Whether you are loved ones of theirs or just someone wanting to find a way to help, please give what you can and share far and wide! Everything makes a difference.

William y su esposa Hany han formado parte de nuestra comunidad durante 20 años. Aquí nacieron sus cuatro hijos y son miembros dedicados de la iglesia y de la comunidad. Ya sea que lo conozcan de la iglesia, del vecindario, de la escuela de sus hijos o porque les ayudó a construir, reparar o mejorar su casa, todos los que conocen a William solo tienen cosas maravillosas que decir sobre su generosidad y su amabilidad.

El viernes 12 de diciembre, agentes de ICE llegaron a su lugar de trabajo y se lo llevaron a él y a tres de sus compañeros de trabajo sin previo aviso, a pesar de que eran personas valiosas para la comunidad desde hacía muchos años y no habían cometido ningún delito. La familia de William, por supuesto, se ha visto gravemente afectada por esta situación; sus hijos extrañan a su padre y Hany se encuentra sin la ayuda de su esposo. La situación empeora debido al miedo que sienten de no poder salir de casa por precaución.

Si bien no podemos eliminar el dolor y la crueldad de esta situación, al menos podemos ayudar a aliviar la presión financiera que supone que William no pueda mantener a su familia.
