Support Wild Hope Inc.: Healing Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities Through Equine Therapy

Wild Hope Inc. is on a mission to provide free therapeutic horsemanship services to veterans and individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to offer the unique connection and healing that only horses can provide, helping participants build confidence, manage stress, and find joy in everyday life.

Why We Need Your Support

Many veterans and individuals with disabilities face significant challenges, including financial hardships. In 2022, approximately 1.2 million veterans were living below the poverty line. At Wild Hope Inc., we believe that financial constraints should never be a barrier to accessing the therapeutic benefits of working with horses. That's why we offer our services completely free of charge.

Our Current Needs

While our mission is strong, we face financial challenges. Currently, the program is fully funded by Faith, which is becoming increasingly difficult. Our monthly expenses include:

$140 per horse for board (with two horses currently and another arriving in September)

$252 for hay

$240 for grain

$80 for farrier services

$100 for an equine body worker

Additionally, our dedicated staff volunteers their time without compensation.

Your generous contributions will also help us secure new horses for our program, ensuring we can provide a diverse and enriching experience for our participants. Additionally, funds will go towards acquiring more adaptive tack to accommodate the unique needs of our riders, enhancing their comfort and safety. Ensuring the health and well-being of our horses is paramount; therefore, your support will also help cover medical bills, including regular check-ups, vaccinations, and any necessary treatments for all the horses in our program. Every dollar makes a significant impact, helping us maintain a high standard of care for both our participants and our equine partners.

We have reached out to the marketing team at Fort Novosel, and they plan to feature a story on Wild Hope Inc. to help us reach more veterans. We are also in touch with local veterans groups to expand our services.
