Help White Stag Grow and Purchase Pico Blanco
Friends, we have incredible news! We have been selected to purchase Camp Pico Blanco on the Big Sur Coast.
Help White Stag return to its original home, and preserve the amazing wilderness property for youth and the Scouting program to use for generations to come.
The White Stag Program ran its first Summer training program, and the 20 years following at Camp Pico Blanco, so it has always been a special place for White Stag.
We ask for your help raising funds specifically to benefit White Stag Youth Leadership Development Academy (White Stag Monterey) in purchasing Camp Pico Blanco and fueling the necessary costs associated with the current program. Contributions are generally tax deductible - 501C3 EIN #20-3271014.
About the Purchase of Camp Pico Blanco
The White Stag program was founded at Pico Blanco Scout Reservation in 1958 by Belay Banathy. Over the years, the White Stag program has become deeply intertwined with the camp. In the Fall of 2021, Pico Blanco went up for sale. To financially manage the purchase, we have partnered with the Esselen Tribe of Monterey County and Camping Unlimited for the developmentally disabled as "Pico Partners."
