WEST BALTIMORE HELP
West Baltimore Help is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that delivers water, hot chocolate, coffee & cream (seasonally dependent), cereal & milk, pizza, PBJs, homemade sweets, fresh fruit, and sweet tea/lemonade to 50 unsheltered friends in West Baltimore three times a week. I also share clothes, blankets, shoes, and whatever donations I get; provide minor medical care, rehab, and transportation; provide "bougie" transitional housing help; and basically whatever else West Baltimore needs, from cooling stations to rehab help.
In 2025, West Baltimore Help was awarded both the President's Volunteer Service Award (the highest award in the nation for volunteer service) and the HHH Visionary Award (the highest award from HHH, who have been doing food outreach in East Baltimore for over 33 years) for our service.
