On August 2nd, Wesley Witham (my cousin) got in a motorcycle accident. He caught loose dirt, and the bike fell on his leg and dragged him with the bike. He has had surgeries on his hip, femur, and pelvis. This will put him out of work for 2 to 6 months, being the sole provider for his family (him, his wife, and their 2 kids).
Wesley had recently started a new job at Maine Drilling and Blasting and was in the process of moving his family to a safer, better home. He doesn't qualify for any type of paid leave due to just starting the new job, but they are willing to work with him. His wife, Shelby Witham, cannot work due to taking care of their disabled son and having numerous appointments with their son every week. She will also now have to bring Wesley to appointments (until he is able to drive again) and provide all of his care herself, as well as caring for their 2 children. Funds will help them be able to pay their rent in their new home they are renting and help out with bills until Wesley can return to work. Any donation is greatly appreciated at this time. Any questions about how you can help can be directed to Shelby Witham or Jodie Lynch. Thank you.
