Who is WEBC?
Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) is a registered nonprofit organization that began in 2022. Our organization promotes all types of cycling while using the "power of community" to make positive impacts in our community and local riding scene.
What has WEBC accomplished to date?
Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) started from very humble beginnings in 2022. Very quickly our organization grew and began to make substantial impacts in the community through different cycling group rides, youth programs, and major trail building projects! In 2025, WEBC completed its major 3 phase trail building project in Amherstburg ON, after raising $200,000 in donations, and utilizing over 5000 volunteer hours to build over 8 km of new mountain bike trails.
These newly constructed trails built by WEBC volunteers, helped start an extremely successful WEBC Youth mountain bike program, that offers FREE free skill instruction and group rides for kids looking to learn how to mountain bike! We have seen hundreds of youth riders out to our WEBC Youth sessions and falling in love with mountain biking over the last 2 seasons (2024 - 2025).
This amazing project and our rapidly expanding WEBC Youth program, also led to our WEBC team receiving the very prestigious 2025 June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism from the Province of Ontario! This award is the highest honour a non profit organization can receive in Ontario!!

What is WEBC fundraising for?
- Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) is fundraising money to pay for costs associated with operating our organization. More specifically, we look to use donations to fund our required annual insurance, costs for our rapidly expanding WEBC Youth program, and other future build projects our organization has planned!
How will funds be used?
All funds will go towards paying required insurance to host our WEBC Youth program, offer weekly group rides, maintain our existing trails, and to build new trails. WEBC needs this insurance annually to operate!
WEBC Youth Program
Donations help WEBC fund our amazing WEBC Youth program that helps hundreds of local kids in Windsor Essex learn how to mountain bike and improve their skills. We take pride in getting more kids outside and riding bikes! Funds go towards program insurance, safety equipment, and other program resources.
Trail Building & Maintenance
Donation funds also go towards trail building / maintenance equipment, tools, resources, and materials to ensure out local trails are safe and also improving!
WEBC Group Rides
Donations help WEBC pay for costly annual insurance required to host our weekly road cycling and mountain bike group rides. These funds help more people get outside, meet other riders, and be part of an amazing community!
