We Love Our Neighbors (WLON) is a San Diego based Muslim organization.

We aim to tackle hate against Muslims by providing non-Muslims with an opportunity to interact with Muslims in informal settings, such as at dinner table, over a cup of coffee, or in a park. For that, we organize dinners, coffee conversation groups, and park gatherings.

Some major reasons for anti-Muslim bigotry and hatred are widespread propaganda, misconceptions, and stereotypes against Islam and Muslims. We address these by educating non-Muslims about the actual teachings of Islam. We conduct lectures, presentations, seminars, and discussion groups, and provide educational material such as English translation of the Quran and pamphlets and books with information about Islam.

Our goal is to build friendly and loving relationships among Muslims and their neighbors belonging to all faith and atheistic backgrounds. For that, we organize events such as dinners and mosque tours, and offer gifts.

We hold events for Muslims to help and facilitate them in reaching out to their neighbors and building friendly relationships.

We also help new Muslims integrate into the community and build friendships. We hold educational and social events for them e.g., Ramadan iftars and Eid dinners.

We also engage in community service, including, but not limited to, volunteering at Feeding San Diego and feeding the homeless.
