We have a big (and very meaningful) goal for 2026
When we first started We Are Courageous Kids, we honestly didn’t know exactly what we were doing—we just knew we wanted to help kids feel braver, stronger, and less alone. So we became a for-profit… because it was the path we understood at the time. But as we’ve grown, learned, and met so many incredible kids and families, one thing has become clear: We can reach so many more kids as a nonprofit.
So here we are—our belated New Year’s goal is officially in motion! We are raising funds to cover the costs of becoming a nonprofit organization. If we’re lucky enough to raise beyond that, every extra dollar will go directly back into what matters most—updating our website and providing supplies for camp so we can keep creating safe, supportive, and empowering spaces for kids.
