Hi, my name is Kimmi. Im starting this page to help my dad. He's gone through some really tough medical issues lately. The most recent has led to him having his left foot and part of his leg amputated. He's on a fixed income and insurance is not covering as much as is needed. Aside from the medical bills, he could be sent home from the nursing home/rehabilitation center any day now but his home is in dire need of not only some repairs like holes in the floors... but also is not equipped safely for someone in his condition. He desperately needs a wheelchair ramp for the front porch, safety rails throughout the bathroom and a hospital bed or similar setup for the living room as his current bedroom does not have the space for him to get in and out safely. My dad could really use some help. Hes the kind of guy that would help anyone and has without questions or ever expecting anything in return. I wish I was able to help him more than I am... so I thought id try this. Im hopeful we can find him the help he needs. We've tried organizations... he either doesn't qualify or even if he does, it'll be months at minimum before the help could arrive. He doesn't have that time to wait. Please, every little bit helps. If there ever were a person that deserved it, it'd be him. I love you dad! We'll all figure this out together somehow!
