Help Waroeng Jajanan Store
Donation protected
Hi, I am helping Waroeng Jajanan to raise the funds and to support them. My wife and I have known them for the past 9 years.
Their store was burned to the ground (it's suspicious and it's under investigation!!) and they lost everything on Saturday 09-11-21 morning around 5:00 am!!!
Waroeng means a “street-side stall, booth or shop,” while Jajanan is slang for treats, snacks or “anything that one buys for fun.” A husband and wife (Asian and Christian) who immigrated from Indonesia opened the business in 2012, specializing in yellow rice dishes, spiced chicken and meatball soup. It was a community hub for others with Indonesian roots.
