Help Bring Comfort to Neurology Patients

We're fundraising to provide TVs for every room in our Neurology Ward, B10 at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton — and we need your help.

Many of our patients spend many days in hospital, often dealing with life-changing neurological conditions. Hospital stays can be isolating and stressful, especially during recovery or while awaiting treatment. It has been found that isolation and loneliness can even result in worse outcomes for patients (Mekoya, 2023). A simple TV can offer comfort, distraction, and a sense of normality during these difficult times.

Currently, none of our rooms are equipped with TVs, and we want to change that. Your donation will go directly towards purchasing televisions for patient rooms — bringing entertainment, relaxation, and a much-needed boost to mental wellbeing.
