Walt Keister is my dear brother and a proud Marine Veteran who has always put others before himself. For years, he worked as a landscaper, never thinking to sign up for social security benefits, and later spent 16 years working at the local penitentiary. Now in his late seventies, Walt faces some of the toughest challenges of his life. He is currently homeless and struggling with mental health issues, and he was recently hospitalized due to serious heart conditions. Despite these hardships, Walt continues to give back to his community, regularly contributing to the local Catholic church in Lewisburg. His kindness and generosity have touched many lives, and he is well known for his willingness to help others, even when he has little himself.
