Firstly, I would like to thank you all for participating in this fundraiser. Makes a difference.
Every dollar is a step towards saving Walid and his family in order to ensure their future.
My family and I are already working on obtaining their visas to travel abroad.
We all see what is happening now in Rafah. The danger of bombings is present every second. Of course, because of this situation, the mental health of me, my wife, my daughters and my children is at an all-time low, so I invite you to continue giving us hope together. This fundraiser is our future for me and my family.

Sympathetic supporters I am Walid Shaheen from Gaza, Palestine, and I am communicating with you in urgent need. The ongoing war has left my family, my devoted wife, my children, and my five children. A, 21 years old, studying psychology at the university, Sarah, 20 years old, studying nursing at the university, Muhammad, 17 years old, studying high school, Karam, 13 years old, studying in the basic stage, and Zain, 8 years old, studying in the basic stage also in difficult circumstances. Our lives have been shattered since the 7th of October, leaving us with nothing but memories of happy times at home and struggling to meet our basic needs before the destruction. I worked as a public taxi driver and had a car to work on, which was also destroyed and leveled, just like my house. I was doing my best to provide a better life for my family, believing in the power of education as the path to a bright future for my sons and daughters. However, my sons have now lost access to their schools and universities and are facing unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing war. My children are suffering physically, emotionally and mentally. We are facing a severe shortage of clothes, medicines and basic supplies such as diapers and milk for our children. Our family of seven members is crammed into a small space and endures extreme cold, high heat, and uncertainty about our future. With each passing day, the situation becomes more desperate, and my responsibility extends beyond, as I am the sole breadwinner for this family. This puts a weight on my shoulders. I feel helpless and have limited financial resources. I struggle to... Providing the simplest necessities of life, which increases my sense of duty to protect them from the scourge of war. At the same time, the difficulties my wife and daughters face in accessing basic feminine hygiene supplies leave them mentally exhausted and exhausted every month. I humbly request your support in the following areas Emergency assistance to cover our direct living expenses as we face this crisis without any source of income Egyptian evacuation and coordination fees: $30,000-$35,000 7 people to help us bear the exorbitant fees charged for crossing the Rafah crossing, which is our only lifeline for possible safety and medical care. Living expenses to provide a safe haven for my family and basic necessities for the next six months Your support is more than just financial aid. It is a lifeline and a ray of hope in the dark. It is an opportunity for a father to feed his hungry children and his frightened sons, and for the family to find solace in a war-torn world. With sincere gratitude. Walid Shaheen
