Imagine if your only means to travel are to walk and use public transportation! Now imagine needing to shop and get your groceries home on foot or struggle to get multiple bags on the bus.
We’re raising $6,000 to donate shopping trolleys to pantries across Vermont through Walk to Shop, a Vermont 501c3 nonprofit.
"Rolling everything in one trolley bag with two large sturdy wheels "is a game changer", notes one trolley user.
These lightweight, durable trolleys makes it easy for their guests to transport food safely and easily. Each trolley costs just $50, and every donation—big or small—will make a difference.
With your help, we can help lighten the load for more walkers!
Why This Matters
Everyone needs to shop for food. But not everyone has the means to carry heavy groceries home. The rugged lightweight trolley:
- Easily rolls up to 50 pounds of food and essentials
- Large wheels to roll over cracked sidewalks, and long distances with ease
- Weatherproof fabric keeps groceries dry
- Perfect for bus travel
- Bright green color is highly visible for safety
Each trolley
• Promotes Accessibility: Makes grocery trips easier for seniors, families, and anyone walking or using public transit.
• Supports Dignity: Helps guests carry food independently and safely.
• Encourages Sustainability: Replaces car trips and supports walking.
Let’s come together to lighten the load for our neighbors. Donate any amount today and help us meet our goal!
