Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
On January 6th, 2025, my family faced an unimaginable tragedy. The devastating 2025 Eaton Firestorm ravaged my parents home in Altadena, California. The place that hosted a lifetime of memories, and where my husband and I spent countless hours of family time with their 3 grandchildren. Nanny and Papa’s house was not just a structure—it was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and warmth. Sadly, it is now reduced to ashes.
For over 50 years, this home was the heart of our family. It’s where we celebrated birthdays, holidays, milestones, and most importantly, where we shared love and support. It’s where Sunday and Monday night football lived and where the holidays kicked off. Their three great-grandchildren will never experience the safety and comfort of this home, a place that should have been theirs to grow up in, surrounded by the love of family.
In an instant, they lost everything. The home where I was raised from day 1, where all 3 grandkids spent their summers and where we introduced them to their 3 great-grandkids. The memories will be cherished, but the pain of knowing that my grand-kids will never feel the warmth of their forever home is unbearable.
We’re asking for your support to help them through the toughest of times. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us start over and give our family a chance to heal. We are determined to create new memories and stories not just for us, but for the generations to come.
Please share this campaign with others, as every bit of support can make a world of difference. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for helping us create a new chapter in our family’s story.
With deep gratitude,
Erica “Ty” Wallace
