Hi, my name is Anushka Choudhary. I’m a student at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, California. Last summer, I spent two months working with Gloryca International College in Migori, Kenya — a school that provides free education to underserved children thanks to the strength and vision of its founder, Vivienne.

This summer, on the one-year anniversary of those efforts, we’re continuing that mission — but this time, we’re helping Vivienne’s own son.

Vivienne is an incredible woman. Once a street vendor in Migori, she rose above impossible odds to found Gloryca and change hundreds of lives through education. Her story is one of resilience, hope, and unwavering faith in the power of learning.

Now, it’s her son who needs our help.

Vivienne’s son, a bright and dedicated student, was accepted into Nairobi University's prestigious medical program. His dream is to become a doctor and serve the very same community his mother has spent her life lifting up. But due to financial hardship, he was forced to drop out before finishing his first year.

We’re raising funds to help him return — to complete his education, become the doctor he was meant to be, and carry forward his mother’s legacy of service.

This campaign is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of one year since we began this journey of giving back. Let’s come together again to help someone who has given so much to others finally receive the support he deserves.
