Help Vishinna's family move!

This week, while the world has been chanting Black Lives Matter in the streets, a Black family living in Fresno has been targeted by their racist white neighbor. Vishinna's sister Shavonna lives in north Fresno with her mother and two daughters. Shavonna is a single mother and Black creative, working hard with her family to promote their talents and be successful in their passions. This week, her neighbor has been calling Shavonna's landlord in an attempt to get her evicted. Shavonna had a family gathering, and instead of approaching Shavonna about any noise, she called and complained. She called twice more this week complaining of "suspicious behavior" and using coded language that is based in racism and lies. It's clear that this is just a continuation of Fresno's racist history of red lining - a white woman trying to push out a Black family from her white neighborhood. Shavonna's lease is up in August. The money raised will be used to move into a new home where her Black daughters can live safely and not be afraid of racism in their own neighborhood. This money will help cover down payments and moving costs that the family may need. We will be so grateful if community can come together and support Black families and Black women in this time of rebuild.
