My Story: Struck While Walking – A Life Changed in Seconds

On what seemed like a normal day, I was walking on the pavement—something we all do without thinking twice—when the unimaginable happened. A car veered off the road and crashed into me and the person I was with. In an instant, everything changed.

The impact left me hospitalized with serious injuries. I suffered trauma to my kidney and a severely broken leg. After being rushed to the hospital, I underwent a two-hour surgery where doctors inserted a metal rod and plate to repair the damage to my leg. The physical pain has been intense, but the emotional and financial toll is just as heavy.

Recovery hasn’t been easy. I’m now facing months of rehabilitation, limited mobility, and the stress of bills and time away from work.
