Meet Vincent by watching this short, moving video of his story: https://youtu.be/GBs7fTX_8S4
Vincent is a remarkable 15-year-old with a passion for science and engineering. He’s in the top 1% of students in his state, builds award-winning rockets, and dreams of working for NASA or becoming a high-level engineer. Beyond his academic achievements, Vincent is a loving big brother to Teddy, and he’s eagerly awaiting the arrival of his new baby sister. He’s the kind of young person who lights up when he talks about the future, and his family—his mom Jessica and stepdad Chris—are his biggest supporters.
But Vincent’s journey hasn’t been easy. When he was just six years old, a car accident caused by a drunk driver changed his life forever. Vincent survived, but he became paralyzed. Since then, he’s faced challenges that most of us never have to think about—not because of who he is, but because the world around him isn’t fully accessible. One of the biggest daily struggles is using the bathroom safely and independently. The family’s home is not ADA accessible, and the bathroom doesn’t provide the privacy, dignity, or independence that every teenager deserves.
We are raising funds to build a fully ADA-compliant bathroom for Vincent—a space where he can move safely, care for himself, and experience the independence every young person should have. Our hope is to continue adapting the home, including the kitchen—which is especially important because cooking is one of Vincent’s passions—and his bedroom, so Vincent can live with the freedom and dignity he deserves. Your support will help invest in a young man who is already reaching for the stars, ensuring his home supports him every step of the way. If you’re able to help, we would be deeply grateful.
If you can’t give, sharing Vincent’s story can make all the difference.
Thank you for being part of something that truly matters.
