Hi, my name is MJ Lenhart, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help for my sister’s partner, Victor, who lives in Guatemala and urgently needs a kidney transplant to save his life.

Victor was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2021 at just 21 years old. Since then, his life has changed completely. He currently goes through hemodialysis three times a week, each session lasting about four hours. Sadly, his condition has worsened — his dialysis access is failing and he’s now facing serious heart-related complications that cause chest pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath.

Despite everything, Victor continues to fight every single day. He’s a kind, hardworking young man and, above all, a loving father to his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Eva, who is his biggest motivation to keep going.

Unfortunately, the medical system in Guatemala makes it extremely difficult and expensive to get the transplant and follow-up care he needs. The total cost of surgery, hospital stay, medications, and recovery is far more than the family can afford.

My sister and Victor are doing everything they can, but they need our help.
