<div>Victor was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2021 at just 21 years old. Since then, his life has changed completely. He currently goes through hemodialysis three times a week, each session lasting about four hours. Sadly, his condition has worsened — his dialysis access is failing and he’s now facing serious heart-related complications that cause chest pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath.

<div>Despite everything, Victor continues to fight every single day. He’s a kind, hardworking young man and, above all, a loving father to his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Eva, who is his biggest motivation to keep going.

<div>Unfortunately, the medical system in Guatemala makes it extremely difficult and expensive to get the transplant and follow-up care he needs. The total cost of surgery, hospital stay, medications, and recovery is far more than the family can afford.
